Thoughts

I have fond memories of time with our lovely Ethel! Going to see her and Hilda at Church on a Sunday as a little girl and them making a fuss of me and my brother Adam. A lovely afternoon spent sitting in Ethel’s living room whilst she helped me read a knitting pattern. Sunday lunches at my parents with her and my Nan and walking you home after Church. I’m so glad she could be there at my wedding, and at my baby shower last year. Ethel I was so looking forward to bringing Owen to meet you, I wish you’d have met him, you would have loved each other! I’ll miss your lovely, smiley face and your cuddles, spending time with you was always such a pleasure. When you used to tell me you loved me, I felt so blessed, and I love you too ❤️

Jelly babies, Ribena, Walkers Crisps, knitting and the colour red. All of these remind us of you Ethel. You have been a part of our family for the past 30 years and will be greatly missed. We loved having you to lunch and watching the football together and it didn’t matter what team was playing you just enjoyed it but it was even better if it was West Ham. You were a very special person Ethel and we’ll miss you. The last thing you told me as I dropped you home the last time you came for lunch was ‘I love you’ and I love you too Ethel. God Bless all our love Ali, Eddie, Adam, Georgia, Jordan and Owen xxxx
